The So Called funk rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers have been forced to postpone their upcoming U.S
(world) tour so frontman Anthony Kiedis could undergo an operation on his foot. Sadly, RHCP fans who have been waiting for their U.S tour will have a wait a little longer to head-bang to their favorite tunes. No one is happy with the delay but at the same time want frontman Anthony Kiedis to recover as soon as possible to start the tour.
The Peppers confirmed the news on its website, citing the need for the 49-year-old Kiedis to take care of "multiple foot injuries" that had been troubling him recently. Instead of kicking off on Jan. 20 in Sunrise, Fla., the jaunt will now get underway on the other side of the coast at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa Bay on March 29. It's set to run through October with a pitstop in Cleveland on April 14, where the foursome will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Guns N' Roses and the Beastie Boys.
Hoping that the wait pays off and that the I'm With You World Tour is a blast. Just wait and watch.
